Growing Regions - Central America
Central America produces a hugh range of high quality coffee.

Costa Rica is renowned for speciality coffee. The harvest period is from November to March.

In
El Salvador much of the coffee grown is of the bourbon variety. This is consequence of the civil war, when the bourbon trees were not uprooted in favour of hardier arabica trees. The harvest for better quality coffees is from January to April/May.

Honduras has great potential for high quality offering a rich variety of distinctive flavours. Harvest is from October to March.
 
Nicaragua is emerging as an origin that offers some top quality coffees.  Good Nicaraguan coffee can display a medium body with high citrus notes.
