About Pollards - In the beginning
“Thank you for dropping in on us, it’s great to meet you. As you are here, you’d probably like to know a little about us.

Well it all started way back in 1879 with my great, great grandfather Joseph Pollard. Joseph had a grocers shop in Sheffield where among his other comestibles, he used to roast his own coffee. He and subsequent generations of the family were so good at this that over time, the grocery business was overtaken by the coffee roasting, which brings us bang up to date!

Just like Joseph, I love my coffee and have a ‘mission’ to bring you the quality coffee you want.
