At Pollards we believe in an ethical approach to everything – to the way we treat our staff, our customers, our suppliers and our local community.

We work very closely with the coffee plantations in India where we make every effort to look after all of the pickers and planters while they are working and after they retire.

As you might expect from Pollards, we also buy Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance approved beans, after all a fair price for a fair day’s work is only fair!

By supporting the Rainforest Alliance we are also doing our bit to help protect the planet – let’s face it - for the foreseeable future, it’s the only one we’ve got!

Our strong ethical approach was rewarded in 2005 by Coutts bank who presented us with the Coutts Family Business prize for Philanthropy.
